With the Elite Basketball Bootcamp only two weeks away from finishing up its summer session, I have been giving people a look into some of the training that we have been doing since the middle of June. These basketball players are really starting to see the results. Each week someone new is picking up a heavier sandbag than they did the week before. They are challenging themselves and each other to jump farther, sprint faster, do more pushups or pullups, and lift heavier weights. I’m telling you, the atmosphere is great!
At the end of each workout, right before we do what I like to call “Abs of Fury” we usually have some sort of finisher that really taxes the body. Last week, we turned it into a competition which I actually was forced out of retirement to compete in due to an uneven number of participants. Instead of just doing our regular prowler sprints, we turned it into a timed relay race where each team member had to go a certain distance and back. It was a close one until the end, so check out the video below to find out what happened and who won.
