Basketball skill development is a key component to becoming a good basketball player as is something that is worked on daily with my basketball team but also with my players that train at Elite Basketball Training. Elite Basketball Training focusses on the development of multiple skills as well as speed, quickness, agility, and strength. Two of those skills are ballhandling and finishing or shooting a jumper off the dribble. The Three Chair Attack Drill is a excellent drill to work on both of these skills

Good Defense and Shooting the Basketball
Those of you who know me, know that I am a big fan of defense in the game of basketball. Scoring baskets is the easy part because most players do not take defense seriously and to pick them apart offensively is really quite easy; but defense is all about will power and discipline and that is what I love. Do you as an individual have the will to stop your opponent? Does your team have the discipline to work together as a unit and stop the other team?
Circle the Cone Basketball Agility Drill
Training for speed and agility is a main part of my basketball training philosophy at Elite Basketball Training. It is so important for basketball players to be able to change directions quickly during a game and this is a skil that needs to be practiced. Below is a video of another great basketball speed and agility drill.
Agility Ladder Post Training
Elite Basketball Training workouts are not only about working hard, but also working smart. The goal is to create the complete basketball player, a player that has the ability to dribble, pass, and shoot while also being stronger, faster, and more agile than their opponent. To accomplish this takes a lot of hard work and upon first look should take an inordinate amount of time.
