This one is going to be a short one, but man is it a good one. Practices, whether skill development sessions or team practices need to be made competitive. They need to be harder than the game. That is why it is important to make as many of your drills that you use competitive.

They Know How to Win
I just wanted to say that I love the Butler Bulldogs and their march back to the Final Four. I have watched everyone of their games except the Old Dominion game (which I was forced to listen to on the radio) and I have heard the announcers mention on many occasions that they, “know how to win.” This statement may seem ridiculous, but it is far from it.
